TESAV TARIM PLATFORMU KURULDU

Vakıf Senedimizde Vakfımızın amacı, özetle, “Toplumdaki kadro ve bilgi birikiminden yararlanarak, ülke sorunlarını ve çözüm yollarını aramak ve varılan sonuçları toplumun yararlanmasına sunmak” olarak ifade edilmiştir. Tarımımızın içinde bulunduğu durum gerçekten kaygı vericidir. O nedenle tarımın karşı karşıya bulunduğu sorunları ele almak amacıyla Vakıf bünyesinde bir “Tarım Platformu” kurulmasına karar verilmiştir.

Bir ülkede uygulanan tarım politikaları; ülkenin hedeflenen ekonomik, toplumsal ve siyasal sonuçlara ulaşılabilmesinin aracıdır. Ülkemizde tarım sektörü; milli gelire,  istihdama, dış satıma çok önemli katkıda bulunmaktadır. Her şeyden önce ülke nüfusunun sağlıklı, yeterli ve dengeli beslenebilmesi, bunun için gerekli olan tarım ve gıda ürünlerinin uygun fiyatla ve zamanında tüketici sofrasına ulaşabilmesi ile mümkündür.

Bu çerçevede, zincirin iki ucundaki üretici ile tüketicinin ortak yarar ve çıkarlarının gözetilerek refah düzeylerinin yükseltilmesi, tarım politikasının temel amaçları arasındadır. Tarım sektörünün üretim kapasitesinin kırsal, bölgesel ve ülkesel kalkınmaya katkı sağlaması, gıda güvencesinin sağlanması ve sürdürülebilirliği, gıda sanayinin gereksinim duyduğu ham maddenin rasyonel koşullarda yurt içinde üretilmesi ve işlenmesi; bunun için de doğayla dost bir eksende, verimli ve rekabetçi bir tarım yapısının kurulması, öncelikli hedeflerdir.

TESAV TARIM PLATFORMU, ülkemiz tarımındaki temel sorun alanlarını belirleyerek, bu sorun alanlarını konunun paydaşlarıyla tartışmak suretiyle çözümler oluşturmak ve varılan çözümleri kamuoyuna açıklamak amacıyla çalışmalar yapacaktır.

Tarım Platformu’nun ilk toplantısı, 28 Ocak 2019 Pazartesi günü Vakıf merkezinde yapılmıştır.
